Included With Every Order
Vinyl Preparation
To ensure we get the best possible recording of your vinyl records, we review and check for damage, dust and other debris. Depending on the condition of the record, it's cleaned using several of our exclusive Vinyl cleaning methods. We use a high-fidelity balanced pickup cartridge on our professional quartz-accurate weighted turntable, which is weighed and balanced for even playback. The audio signal is routed through a RIAA turntable preamp, then digitized using our professional-grade audio card. We store your vinyl (possibly permanently) in one of our anti-static & anti-scratch poly-lined record sleeves.
Digital Remastering
Once the audio is recorded, we start with our exclusive digital post processing that will add new life to your old records. We run specialized software that 'fixes' the audio by removing pops and clicks inherent to vinyl records. We finish with any necessary compression and amplification before it's trimmed into individual tracks and burned onto a CD-R of top-rated media to ensure a high-caliber, long lasting and highly-compatible product.
Professional Results
Our audio engineers don't listen to every track on every album; there'd never be enough time. But they do recognize trouble spots and fix them automatically and seamlessly to produce outstanding auditory perfection. If we see/hear skips, or non-vinyl audio distortions (dirt in the grooves), we'll repair it as best possible, using all our tricks, even if that means spot-cleaning the vinyl all over again! So simple you'll wonder why you waited so long! We send you a pre-paid cardboard return mailer for you to return your Vinyl Records to us. We'll return your order in the same box, with your new CD, in about a week! That's all three shipping charges for one simple payment of $12 per Vinyl transfer! Order today before you forget tomorrow with one easy payment!
We use PayPal to doing our billing, simply because they accept all major credit cards (MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover) and will collect your shipping address and email us once your payment is processed.
Afterwards, you can review our last-minute media packing instructions! All orders will get an email response from both PayPal and Under Design with 24 hours of ordering.
